Mezza Lebanese Kitchen – Authentic Lebanese Cuisine & Stellar Donairs in Calgary

Stopped by today with my wife, we had high expectations for this location, as we have eaten at the original Mezza in Halifax, as well as some others in the Halifax area, and, I can tell you, it did not disappoint! My wife ordered the Mixed Grill Plate with Rice and Fatouch, I had the Donair and Fries, and we ordered some Dolmatas, Falafel, and Greek Salad on the side. Everything we ordered was fantastic! The Chicken Souvlaki is just like we remember, and is arguably the best I’ve ever tasted, the Fries are spiced with that special Mezza seasoning, and were delicious, but the best part of my meal was the Donair, I guarantee you will not find a better Donair in Calgary! If you are a fan of Donairs, Nova Scotia style especially, do yourself a favour and get one from Mezza. Aside from the delicious food, the atmosphere, layout and cleanliness was top notch, and our Server, Satveer, was outstanding. Nothing but good things to say about Mezza Calgary, we will be back for sure. PS - I would have posted some pics along with the review, but we were so into the food, It didn’t even cross our minds to take pictures.

Fresh, good presentation, and super helpful and friendly staff. Jass was great at catering to my needs! I ordered the Siracha Chicken Protein Bowl. Loved the crunch from everything and the fried chickpeas! Only notes is not to overgrill the chicken so it retains its juiciness and for the staff to do something about the odour (plumbing issue?) Thanks Mezza!

I recently tried the new Mezza restaurant and had a great experience. The place was very clean and the staff were pleasant and polite. I ordered a chicken shawarma bowl, and it was a generous portion, healthy, delicious, and affordable. Definitely a spot more people should discover!

Tried their booth at taste of calgary. Super delicious food, super friendly staff- will definitely check out their storefront too! Thank you for the extra slice of Dubai chocolate it was too good to get a picture of before I took a bite !

What a great place for a quick bite. I've visited this place a few times now and have officially formulated my opinion on it. Chicken and donair are both fresh, however I liked the chicken more when I ordered the fries bowl. When it comes to their fries.. I have to say, they're very well seasoned. You can taste the paprika and all the other spices which shows how much they dont skip on seasoning. For their wrap I liked the donair more just because the bread they have complements it well with the added sauces. I didn't get a picture of the wrap, I did get a picture of the bowl I ordered. The order is custom though so if you wanted to order the same thing, get the chicken on fries with tahini sauce, hot sauce and pickles on the side. Over all great place and so far it hasn't disappointed and the staff are really nice.

Just noticed this brand new place while came yo fill gas in at Royal Oak Seven Eleven. Mezza was speaking loud with a warm invite. The brand new purple sign was catchy. New Lebanese Food place. We left on getting our shopping done and returned to try this new place. My son and I both had Chicken Swarma Platters as it looked so good. We could taste the freshly made food in every bites. It wasn’t greasy like some other similar restaurants. Stuffs were very friendly. We even tried the Dubai Chocolate Crunch Bar for dessert. It was delicious! Happy to have this place right in the neighbourhood. They opened just a week ago. I highly recommend you go try them out. I am sure you will not be disappointed and your tummy will be happy!
